To obtain raw unpasteurized milk in Ohio you either have to own your own cow, or buy a partial interest from someone's dairy herd, known as a 'herd share'.

At Pure Moo Dairy we sell through a herd share so we can share with you the benefits of consuming raw milk and share in all the fun ways you can transform your milk into other products such as: butter, ice cream, cheese, kefir, and yogurt.

Milk is bottled in half gallon mason jars and non-spill lids. You will return clean jars and lids at each herd share pickup.

Share Purchase (a one-time buy-in that gives you part ownership of the herd): $25

Boarding Fee (This is a monthly cost that covers the feed, care, labor, equipment, sanitation, breeding, milk testing, and boarding of your share of the herd):

• For 1 Half Share the boarding fee is $32/month. A half share is equal to 1/2 gallon of milk per week or 1 gallon every other week.
• For 1 Full Share the boarding fee is $64/month. A full share is equal to 1 gallon per week or 2 gallons every other week.
• For 2 Full Shares the boarding fee is $128/month and equal to 2 gallons per week.

Payment options for monthly board can be in the form of cash, check payable to 'Pure Moo', or Zelle during milk pickup.

Upon paying for your herd share we will schedule an appointment to go over the details and sign your herd share agreement during your first herd share pickup. Milk pickup times are flexible and will be available inside the Flourish & Roam farm store.

Raw milk is NOT eligible for shipping or local delivery. It must be picked up from the farm store. If you checkout selecting another option you will be refunded the purchase price less $5 to cover processing fees.
